Anonymous13AnonymousI would like to thank the staff at Heartwood, the health authority liaison and all at substance use services who helped us become healthy and happy again. As a mother, I was fighting to save my daughter from the depths of addiction. The timing was right and thankfully I found all of you. Heartwood saved her life. My daughter is mentally healthy, sober and happy and has a great career. Thank you!14/06/2022 10:04:57 PM
Anonymous12AnonymousI just wanted to write and thank you for the treatment program that I went through several years ago. I am now participating in talks and media interviews to raise awareness about sexual abuse trauma and I would not be able to do this work if it had not been for the treatment program that I went through at the Heartwood Centre for Women.17/02/2022 5:10:34 PM
Liza6LizaI was an inpatient, and the staff at Heartwood saved my life. The people who dedicate themselves to change the lives of those that suffer are truly heroes. 11/07/2019 6:51:38 PM

Christina4ChristinaSpecial thanks to Heartwood Centre for Women - I have enjoyed over 2 years sober after attending treatment at Heartwood. I am now moving home to Toronto. Dale and Diane, grandparents2Dale and Diane, grandparentsSam and James: You and your peers may not hear “thanks” directly, or when you do it comes after years of service, yet you are part of a small group of people who are there for people with mental illness. We apologize for the swearing you’ve experienced, the moments of fear you have felt and the inability of our society to step up to solutions that would make your job easier. We are so grateful. 01/05/2018 10:01:29 PM
Anonymous1AnonymousTo Miranda at Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction: You have no idea how much I appreciated your call. You spent so much of your precious time advising me. I cried after we hung up. I did not know who to contact for information about my dear grandson. I know you won’t give up on him as so many others have, and it gives me such relief to know there are caring people like you.08/03/2018 7:06:04 PM
