The Patient Experience and Community Engagement team, in partnership with various stakeholders, has designed a “co-created with patients and families” symbol to clearly identify materials that have been developed with people with lived experience.

This symbol, which will be applied on resources that were co-created in partnership with patients and families, will increase the credibility of BCMHSUS materials, raise awareness of the importance of co-design, and promote collaboration with patients and families in the development of materials.
With our growing
Patient and Family Partner Network, Patient and Family Experience Council, and strategic support provided by the Patient Experience and Community Engagement team, we are continuing build organizational capacity to utilize co-design methodologies to advance person-centered care.
