Workshop Description: This workshop is based on Dr. Waldman’s 37 years of highly successful private practice in Phoenix, AZ and his many years of research and speaking about private practice development. This seminar will teach ethical marketing and the importance of promoting one’s practice. Participants will be introduced to emerging technologies, such as online marketing.
In this very practical workshop the following topics will be addressed: Private Practice as a Business; Effectively Getting Started; Necessary Practice Management Concepts; Managing Managed Care; Proven, Productive Marketing Techniques; Become the Expert; Non-Traditional Ways to Earn Income; and Online Marketing.
The workshop is most appropriate for early-career psychologistsPrivate Practice but also is quite useful for more experienced clinicians who desire to develop a more lucrative, satisfying practice. The instruction level is at the introductory level.
Presenter – Dr. Larry Waldman, ABPP: Dr. Larry Waldman’s multi-faceted private practice is known to be one of the most successful in the Phoenix area. He works with children, adolescents, parents, couples, families, and adults. Dr. Waldman also has a forensic practice working with family law, personal injury, criminal defense, and immigration attorneys.
In addition, he consults to the Phoenix Social Security Office and teaches graduate psychology classes for Northern Arizona University.
